Wavefunction, Inc. serves chemistry researchers and educators worldwide with software that is renown for combining cutting-edge functionality with unsurpassed ease of use. We are currently looking for a bright and energetic individual who will manage academic sales with new and current Wavefunction customers.
Develop/Manage academic sales for Wavefunction's software products (Spartan, Odyssey, and Trident).
Educate existing and new customers on software releases and feature developments for Wavefunction's software products.
Maintain good customer relations with existing accounts.
Work closely with other members of the Business team to achieve sales goals.
Successfully interact with Sales Administration, Customer Support, and Software Development staff.
Bachelors of Science Degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry or related field.*
Strong written and verbal communication and familiarity with desktop computers and standard productivity software applications (E-mail, Word, Databases, Excel, etc.).*
Organization skills and the ability to interact with customers at a scientific/technical level.*
Familiarity with the 'vocabulary' of Chemistry Education
Prior sales and/or marketing experience
