Ftp installation instructions for Spartan '06 version 129 with patch3

Spartan '06 for Linux is available for three different architectures.
    32-bit version for Intel or AMD
    64-bit version for Intel EM64T or AMD64
    64-bit version for Intel Itanium2. (patch1)

To determine which version to download, run the following system command on the system which Spartan is to be installed...

uname -m

32-bit Intel or AMD ("uname -m" returns i686) 
==============================================
Download the Spartan '06 from...

ftp://ftp.wavefun.com/pub/linux/spar129_ia32.p3.tar.gz

Now, unpack the compressed tar archive into any directory.  You will use the
following commands. (assuming the archive was downloaded to "/tmp" and the
program is to be installed into the "/usr" directory)

/cd /usr
tar -xvzf /tmp/spar129_ia32.p3.tar.gz

Next, run the installation program.  The installation program should be run as
the root user to allow Spartan to be configured for all users.

cd spartan06.129_26_int9
./sp_install

following commands. (assuming the archive was downloaded to "/tmp" and the
program is to be installed into the "/usr" directory)

/cd /usr
tar -xvzf /tmp/spar129_ia32e.p3.tar.gz

Next, run the installation program.  The installation program should be run as
the root user to allow Spartan to be configured for all users.

cd spartan06.129_26_int9e
./sp_install
