Jurgen.jpg
A former college chemistry professor, Jurgen Schnitker is the lead developer of ODYSSEY---a content-rich and easy-to-use program for 3D molecular visualization and simulation.

Educated at RWTH Aachen University in Germany and the University of Texas at Austin, Jurgen worked at AT&T Bell Laboratories and the University of Michigan before joining Wavefunction in Irvine, California.

After publishing extensively on topics as diverse as solvated electrons, steroid-binding of globulins, and bimetallic adhesion, Jurgen now enjoys bringing the excitement of chemistry to students in high schools and colleges.

He also loves burritos of all types.
